The craft

Stitch by stitch — by hand, on viscose silk.

We work with hand embroiderers across India — artisans trained in aari and crewel techniques through generations of family practice. Each tapestry is a weeks-long collaboration between the artisan's hands and a design that could only exist in thread. No two are the same.
